  About Us
Wazia.com is an information resource for adults seeking to share "a good story" with children. Our definition of a good story is one that draws out the reader's sense of wonder and helps the reader to reflect more deeply on life and God's redemptive, providential, and often hidden work in the world.

We focus on books that have a story. Although we very much care about a child's ability to read, our primary criterion for selecting a book is not its academic value. We seek to highlight books with story lines and characters that enrich our understanding of life and stimulate thoughtful conversation. Such books, under the guidance of a loving adult, have the potential to shape the character of our children.

Every book listed on this site is whole-heartedly endorsed by the editors. These books are our answers to questions that our friends have asked, "Do you have a good book that you would recommend for my niece?" "I mentor an elementary school student. Do you know of a book that we can read together?" Our book reviews are written specifically to highlight the redemptive content of each story and to alert you to sensitive subject matter.

We give links so that you can purchase the books we recommend through a third party, but you may want instead to borrow a copy from your local library. If you choose to buy and this site helped you to find the book, please use our link. We will receive a small commission, which is the sole source of revenue for this site; we have no plans to sell advertisement.

This site is maintained by Dayspring Technologies, Inc. Web production is performed by our youth interns as part of their training in Web design and development. Dayspring is in the business of developing Web sites for clients looking to market, sell, or provide customer service via the Internet.
